Good to know

The honest answers.

So what are these nights called?

We call these nights Alpha. They are relaxed conversations about life, meaning and faith, over a meal — often hosted at local churches or great local venues.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. These nights are always 100% free and donations are not accepted. Just come and enjoy your evening.

Do I have to come back?

Not at all. Come once and see what you think; there's more the next week if you choose to come. We'd love to see you again, though!

Do I need to believe anything?

Nope, not at all. Atheists, agnostics, sceptics or just indifferent — everyone is welcome. Bring your questions, your doubts, or just your appetite.

Will I get preached at?

No. No one will preach or correct you. Say what you think, or nothing at all. These nights are about conversations, not being told what to believe or corrected for what you think.

Can I bring someone?

Yes! Please do. People often bring a mate or two.

What if I don't know anyone?

You'll be in good company — most people won't know anyone. You'll be seated with a small, friendly group, and the hosts make sure no one's left standing on their own.

Any dietary needs?

We'll make sure you're catered for. Tell us when we get in touch, and we'll sort it.

Come and see for yourself.

Meet new people in an authentic, open space and explore deeper topics about life, meaning, and faith — over a meal near you.
